I grew up in Keller, Texas just north of Ft. Worth. In high school, I was in the marching band and played tennis. I earned my degrees in Business Education and Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR . I played tennis for the Golden Sun's Tech Tennis program all four years and worked as a Resident Assistant in Jones and Summit Halls.

I love teaching students all over the state of Arkansas. The first distance learning class that I participated in was a college sign language course that I took while I was a senior in high school. Things have really improved and the technology that is available in distance-learning is phenomenal.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, sewing, playing tennis, and hosting dinner parties. I also love to travel! In high school I traveled to London for a tennis tournament with Student Ambassadors. In college, I spent a few weeks sightseeing in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
